An Introduction to Anaesthesia

Barts and The London Society for Anaesthesia & Intensive Care Medicine is pleased to announce our inaugural lecture, An Introduction to Anaesthesia delivered by Barts Health consultant anaesthetisits Dr Bojahr FRCA and Dr Hunningher FRCA.

Did you know that anaesthetists are involved in over 60% of all hospital admissions? In addition to providing care during operations, anaesthetists are also involved in managing pain relief during childbirth, pain clinics, intensive care, high dependency and resuscitation services.

Annual General Meeting

The next Annual General Meeting will take place this Monday 7/10/2013. This will take place at 17:30  in the Garrod building. Room 3.04

There are a number of positions to run for including:

– Secretary
– Pre-clinical rep
– Clinical rep
– Liaison officer
– Social secretary and events co-ordinator
